I've been having fairly consistent luck all winter long fly fishing on the Boise River. Usually I go to Duck Alley, a stretch on the South Fork north of chinden on Linder. Using either a #16 Bitch Creek or a #12 copper john I've had consistent results other than when they had raised the flows and was almost swept away since I didn't pay attention to the water level from the previous week

Hey Nick - it's great to hear that you are having luck on the Boise? Do you have any photos of your catches? If so, you should post them under forum "the catch."

I need to get my fishin licence (which i should do today)
and i'll have to tag along when you go one of these days.
Lon posted some pics under "the catch", he was ice fishing.
He wants to do some fly fishing asap!
